On Thursday I had the privilege of chatting with Karen Vignare, Associate Provost at University of Maryland University College (UMUC) here at OCWC in Ljubljana, Slovenia. During Wednesday’s conference presentation, Karen told us more about how UMUC are moving toward an 100% e-resources/OER model by the end of 2016. In Spring/Summer 2013 alone, UMUC saved students $3 million dollars and will continue to save students at least this amount each subsequent year.
